Rhys, who was a late call-up to the squad, has yet to make his mark on the field in this Six Nations campaign before sustaining his injury in training. Meanwhile, nine others, including Cardiff’s Liam Belcher, Ben Thomas, and Mason Grady and Ospreys’ Reuben Morgan-Williams, are heading back to their clubs for upcoming United Rugby Championship matches.

Cardiff faces off against Leinster, Ospreys take on Ulster, and the Scarlets are set to compete against Edinburgh. All released players are expected to rejoin the Wales camp by March 1st in preparation for the crucial clash against Ireland on March 6th.
