🚨 Water Woes in Sketty! 🚨
A burst water main caused quite the stir in Swansea’s Sketty area, leaving homes and the local primary school without water early Monday morning. Heads up—Sketty Primary had to close for the day due to the outage. 💧🏫
Welsh Water teams are on the case, but they’re facing a bit of a challenge—they need to remove a tree to access the damaged pipe! 🌳⚒️ Most properties, including the school, had their water back by around 7:45 am, but 46 homes are still without a supply. Don’t worry, bottled water is being given out to those affected! 🍼
Residents, if you’re in the area, be prepared for low water pressure or no water until the repairs are complete. The good news? The issue is expected to be sorted by 6 pm. Fingers crossed! 🤞
Thank you for your understanding and patience as crews work hard to fix the mess. Stay hydrated and keep an eye out for updates! 💦
