Exciting times for the Dragons as they are on the verge of signing Tongan wing Anzelo Tuitavuki! This powerful speedster has been lighting up the French PRO D2 with 13 tries for Colomiers and is ready to bring his explosive pace to Wales. Tuitavuki’s international experience with nine caps for Tonga, coupled with his stint at Moana Pasifika and Hawke’s Bay, makes him a potent addition to the squad at Rodney Parade.
Despite off-field challenges, the Dragons are charging ahead under the guidance of Filo Tiatia. With notable performances this season, including a win over the Scarlets and a draw with Ospreys, they’re showing they’re much more than just competition to the other Welsh sides.
Tuitavuki will join a dynamic backline featuring talents like Rio Dyer and Fine Inisi, adding depth and flair. While there’s still a need to fill gaps left by departures, like Aaron Wainwright to Leicester Tigers, and to bolster the back row and half-back positions, this signing signals the Dragons’ intent to keep climbing the ranks.
Watch this space as the Dragons continue to evolve and bring excitement to Welsh rugby fans. The addition of Tuitavuki promises to add more power and exciting finishes on the field. Stay tuned for more developments as the club continues to build a formidable squad! 🏉🔥
