⚠️ Important Travel Update for the UK! ⚠️

Starting today, thousands might face hurdles entering the UK unless they shell out £600. The new rules have kicked in: British dual nationals now need a valid British passport or a Certificate of Entitlement to access the UK. Without this, entry could be a no-go!

So, what’s changing? The UK Government has launched the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme. Visitors from 85 countries, including the USA, Canada, and France, who didn’t need a visa before, now must secure an ETA to set foot on UK soil. This move is a stride towards a digitised and contactless UK border of the future!

Minister for Migration and Citizenship, Mike Tapp, says this step gives the UK more power to keep out those deemed a threat and offers better travel experiences. ETAs simplify the process, allowing millions of visitors to enjoy a seamless journey.
Dual British citizens, listen up! You’re off the hook for needing an ETA, BUT you must have either a British passport or a Certificate of Entitlement. Previously, a foreign passport was enough with a certificate, which costs £589. So, get yours sorted to dodge travel woes like denied boarding.
The ETA, meanwhile, costs just £16 and covers visits for tourism, family, or stays up to 6 months. Make sure you’re travel-ready and share this crucial update with fellow travellers! Safe journeys! ✈️🛂
