Big changes are underway at Sainsbury’s and Argos, and it could affect around 300 jobs. As the company reshuffles its technology and data teams, some employees might find themselves in uncertain territory. The goal? To create one streamlined team for Argos and two for Sainsbury’s, optimising how they use data and technology to enhance customer service and value.

But that’s not all. They’re shaking things up in their store leadership too, with new regional director roles focused on convenience stores. Argos fans, take note: there’s a new delivery model on the way, plus a separate leadership board just for the Argos business. It’s all part of the plan to keep delivering that great service we expect from our supermarket favourites.

Sainsbury’s, which employs a hefty 140,000 people, is pulling these moves with the intention of focusing on what truly matters—bringing amazing food, excellent service, and incredible value to us, their customers.
