On February 18, worries about their safety prompted an extensive search by dedicated mountain rescue teams and the coastguard. Sadly, their bodies were recovered the following day. In the wake of this tragedy, the families have decided to honour their memory with a fundraiser for the incredible Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team, whose volunteers worked tirelessly through the night to bring the boys home. Over £10,000 has already been collected in gratitude for their efforts.

Jayden’s aunt, Stephanie Jolly, along with Mark Jolly and Chris Selfe, will also run the Cambridge Half Marathon to raise more funds for this vital team. The Llanberis group, one of the busiest volunteer-run teams in the UK, handles over 220 callouts annually, relying entirely on public donations for its life-saving work.

This is a touching reminder of the power of community support and the brave souls who risk their safety for others. Those wishing to contribute can find details on the fundraising page. Rest in peace, Jayden and Eddie. Your memory will help save others. 💔 #InMemory #LlanberisMountainRescue #Snowdon
