🚨 Shocking Arrest in West Wales 🚨
In a disturbing series of events, a 57-year-old man, Leof Sceaga, from St Dogmaels, was arrested after police discovered his laptop actively downloading child abuse images. This chilling discovery came to light when officers visited his home, following intelligence that flagged his property. Inside, they uncovered a stash of over 800 images and videos depicting child sexual abuse.
The revelations didn’t stop there. Sceaga’s search history was also loaded with vile terms like “paedo centre webcam,” indicating a troubling dedication to seeking offensive material. This isn’t his first brush with the law either; previous convictions were noted from his time in Nottingham.
Swift action by Swansea Crown Court has resulted in Sceaga pleading guilty to multiple charges, including the possession of extreme pornography and the breach of a sexual harm prevention order. With an extensive criminal history, it’s apparent he has failed to learn from past sentences—showing complete disregard for court orders.
Sentenced to 30 months in prison, Sceaga faces half his sentence in custody, with the remainder on licence. As part of the conditions, he will be registered as a sex offender for life.
This case serves as a grim reminder of the vigilance required to combat such heinous crimes. Our thoughts are with those dedicated to protecting society from these predators. Stay informed and stay safe, everyone. 💔 #CrimeUpdate #JusticeServed #CommunityAlert
