💔 Remembering Spencer Rothwell-Poole, a young man whose life revolved around his love for motorbikes, tragically taken too soon. On December 14, Spencer’s passion cost him his life, when an impaired driver crashed into him on Chorley Old Road in Bolton.

Spencer was only 22 when he was killed, leaving his family devastated. His father, Derek, recounts the heartbreak: “On that day, I hugged my boy for the last time and told him I loved him.”
Spencer’s journey wasn’t easy. Born with a hole in his heart, he overcame numerous health challenges as a child. Despite facing bullying and struggles with mental health, he found solace in motorbikes, teaching himself to build them from scratch.

The man responsible for the crash, Cormac Sale, was under the influence of ketamine and driving recklessly. Sale was recently sentenced to 10 years and 8 months in prison for causing death by dangerous driving.
Spencer’s father spoke in court, sharing his grief and loss: “Cormac didn’t just kill my son. He killed the family. I will never forgive him for taking away one of the most precious people in my life.”
Spencer’s brother, Josh, also shared the immense void left behind: “He was my best friend. The thought of him not reaching his full potential hits me every day.”
This tragic story serves as a harsh reminder of the consequences of reckless driving. As we remember Spencer, let this also be a call to prioritise safety on the roads. 💔🏍️
