Rugby fans, some tough news from the pitch. Former Wales outside-half, Sam Davies, currently playing for Grenoble in the French PRO D2, has been sidelined with a severe Staphylococcus infection. 😟

Sam’s been through the wringer lately, battling an infection that spread aggressively from his adductors to his bone, leaving him barely able to move. He shared on Instagram, “The pain’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.”

It’s been a hard hit for Grenoble too, who’ve missed his presence as they fight to climb from ninth position in the league. 🏉

Despite his struggles, Sam’s spirits remain unbroken. He mentioned how this challenge has only fired up his determination to return stronger alongside his Grenoble teammates. He’s eager to get back on the field, representing the red and blue once more. 🙌
We’re all wishing Sam a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see him back in action! 💪❤️
