🏉 Exciting news for Welsh rugby fans! With the highly anticipated Six Nations matches against Ireland and Italy coming up, Wales is strengthening their squad with fresh talent. 🌟
Dragons’ young star Ryan Woodman, at just 22, has been called up. Woodman, who has been impressing as a former under-20s captain, gets his big break after showing promise in previous training sessions. Joining him is Cardiff’s Keiron Assiratti, who returns to action after bouncing back from an injury. 💪
The squad sees these new faces stepping in as Taine Plumtree’s campaign ended prematurely due to a shoulder injury against Scotland. There’s a glimmer of hope that Sam Costelow might make it back for the Italy showdown, despite his recent ankle woes. 🩼
Assiratti is poised to challenge seasoned players like Tomas Francis and Archie Griffin for a spot in the matchday lineup. As the Welsh squad gathers in full force, coach Steve Tandy will soon unveil who’ll face Ireland. All eyes are on the scrum-half position too, with Dan Edwards and Jarrod Evans vying to fill in for Costelow. 🔄
The team met for a comprehensive training session today, gearing up for the big clash against Ireland this Friday. With James Botham likely stepping in for Plumtree, the anticipation is building. Can this revamped squad pull off a win? Let’s support our lads and cheer them on! 🏆
