๐ Excitement filled the air at the Welsh Conservatives’ manifesto launch at St David’s Hotel, Cardiff Bay! Just a stone’s throw from the Senedd, Darren Millar and his team unveiled their “Fix Wales” plan, greeted enthusiastically by supporters. ๐๐ฌ๐ง

Millar dubbed the manifesto a “rescue mission” and shared ambitious proposals like cutting taxes, investing in farming, and introducing an M4 relief road. He also promised changes to Wales’ default 20mph speed limit, targeting only sensitive areas such as near schools. ๐

Despite being projected as the fifth largest party in the upcoming elections, the Conservatives showed high spirits, cheering on Millar as he envisioned Kemi Badenoch as the next Prime Ministerโa move that drew applause from the intimate crowd, including former leader Andrew RT Davies.
The manifesto, with its glossy 58-page design, aims to “get Wales working” and includes policy pledges like scrapping tourism tax, offering tuition fee discounts, enhancing nuclear power for energy security, and more. Millar didn’t hold back from criticising Plaid Cymru, the Lib Dems, Reform, and the Greens, stating that Wales needs experience and passion in these crucial times. ๐ณ๏ธ
