Popular Downtown Cafe and Boutique Set to Shut Down

📣 Sad news, folks! Cardiff’s beloved Queer Emporium, a vibrant mix of coffee, clothes, and gifts, is set to close its doors later this year. After five incredible years of being a staple on St Mary Street, Yan White, the passionate owner, shared the news amidst economic challenges. 📉 Rising costs and a tricky retail environment have made it tough for this LGBTQ+ non-profit to continue where it stands. Yan and the team stood firm on their ethics, ensuring fair wages and supporting local artists without passing excessive costs to loyal customers.
