🚨 Shocking News from Aberthin! 🚨

The legendary Hare and Hounds pub, nestled just outside Cowbridge, has suffered a rather unfortunate break-in. Known for its Michelin Bib Gourmand and a spot in The Good Food Guide’s Top 100 UK pubs, this beloved local gem was targeted on February 26th.

During the burglary, a safe filled with the pub’s takings was stolen. Thieves left a big mess behind, leaving owner Sarah Watts-Jones understandably frustrated. “This one feels completely unnecessary,” she said, expressing hope for a miracle that police, who’ve got the CCTV footage, will catch those responsible.
Despite the setback, the local community has rallied around the pub, showering support and hoping for brighter days ahead. Sarah is optimistic that, with this support, the pub will once again see bustling days full of cheerful patrons soon.
The Hare and Hounds has been a treasured part of the community for 300 years, renowned for its delightful gastropub menu alongside its sister pub, The Heathcock, in Cardiff.
Let’s hope the culprits are caught soon, and the Hare and Hounds continues to thrive for many more years! 🏡❤️
