Paramedics found the victim outside, unconscious and covered in blood, and rushed him to the University Hospital of Wales. He suffered severe head wounds, swelling, and was left missing 2cm of his ear, landing him in intensive care. Kluska claimed self-defence, but the evidence didnāt stack up.
Courtrooms heard from Recorder Victoria Hillier, who saw through Kluska’s defence narrative, concluding he attempted to clean up the evidence. Found guilty, he was handed a 5 and a half-year sentence and a 5-year restraining order against contacting the victim.
This case shines a light on where domestic tensions and alcohol-fuelled disputes can tragically lead. The attack left a lasting impact on the victim, with permanent injuries and emotional trauma. Justice was served, but itās a somber reminder of the dire consequences extreme anger can have. šŖļø
