🌞 Ready for longer days and lighter mornings? The countdown to spring is officially on as the clocks in the UK get set to jump forward soon! 🕒

Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 29 at 1am when we’ll be moving from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) to British Summer Time (BST). What does this mean? An extra hour of daylight, folks! 🌻 Even though we’ll lose that precious hour of sleep, the trade-off is worth it for those sunny evenings.

Did you know the official start of astronomical spring is Friday, March 20? With the rain hopefully behind us and the promise of more sunshine, it’s time to embrace the upcoming change. The longest day of the year, the summer solstice, falls on Sunday, June 21, with a whopping 16 hours and 42 minutes of daylight. In Wales, expect the sunrise around 4.55am and a sunset around 9.38pm! 🌅
A little tip to remember the clock switch: they “spring forward” in spring and “fall back” in autumn. Easy peasy! 🍃
