Former football star Jimmy Bullard missed the chance to play golf alongside Andy Murray after a beer bottle mishap! Bullard, an ex-Premier League player turned avid golfer, was banned from Sunningdale Golf Club after he used an empty beer bottle as a tee during a game, resulting in a suspension from the club.

Known for his lively personality, Bullard admitted, “I’m not allowed to go again. I had a few drinks and got carried away.” He used the bottle as a makeshift tee on the first hole, which didn’t sit well with the prestigious club’s members. Apologetic, Bullard expressed his hopes to return to the club one day.

Meanwhile, Andy Murray, who’s quite the golf enthusiast himself, gears up for the pro-am competition at Sunningdale, set to feature big names like Premier League legend Gareth Bale. Murray will team up with Eddie Pepperell, while Bale joins Matthew Wylie in a tournament full of star power.
Bullard shared his side of the story on snooker legend Stephen Hendry’s ‘Cue Tips’ YouTube channel, campaigning to have his membership reinstated. He remains hopeful for reconciliation, saying, “If there are any Sunningdale members watching, I do apologise. I really want to come back.”
While Bullard won’t be hitting the links this year, Murray and Bale, familiar faces on the pro-am scene, prepare to dazzle fans with their golfing prowess. Both were in action at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship pro-am last October and are set to compete for amateur glory once again.
What do you think about Bullard’s antics? Should he get another swing at Sunningdale, or are the club’s actions justified? Let us know in the comments! ⛳️🏌️♂️
