Despite suffering away from home this season, the Swans displayed resilience and skill. Portsmouth’s Jacob Brown did manage to find the net, ending his 13-month goal drought, but it was merely a consolation as Swansea claimed their much-needed fifth away win.

The game kicked off with Zan Vipotnik, the Championship’s top scorer, missing two early chances to extend his phenomenal goal tally. Portsmouth had their chances too, with a clever corner routine leading to Brown’s first-time effort testing Swansea’s keeper, Lawrence Vigouroux.

In the 26th minute, Galbraith opened the scoring for Swansea with a classy finish, following a brilliant 70-yard pass from Vigouroux and some clever play from Eom Ji-sung and Josh Tymon. Swansea doubled their lead shortly after when Key found the back of the net with a deflected shot.

Pompey’s fans were disappointed, making their feelings known as the players headed off at halftime. The home side did manage to break their scoring drought in the second half with Brown’s header, but it wasn’t enough to secure a point against the determined Swans.

As the match drew to a close, John Swift and Zak Swanson tried their luck but couldn’t beat Vigouroux’s solid defence. With this victory, Swansea City fans have renewed hope that their team can make it to the play-offs. Fingers crossed for an exciting season finish! 🙌🔷 #SwanseaCity #Championship #FootballThriller
