🏉 Big day ahead for Wales as they face off against Italy in the Six Nations! Coach Steve Tandy is sticking with a consistent line-up, hoping that the progress we’ve seen lately turns into a win. We’ve had some tough breaks in recent years, but the team’s grit against top contenders has us feeling optimistic. Remember when everyone counted us out against Ireland? We didn’t win, but boy, did we show up!
Saturday’s match is crucial. Italy’s been on a high, but if our boys can channel the same intensity from Dublin and polish up on those opportunities, we’ve got every chance of securing that long-awaited Six Nations victory.
Let’s not sugarcoat it—three years without a win means the stakes are high. The centre pairing of Joe Hawkins and Eddie James continue to find their rhythm, while our pack has proven to be a tough nut to crack. The set-piece is dialled in, and if we can limit unforced errors and unleash some firepower in attack, we’ll give Italy a run for their money.
Italy’s Tommaso Menoncello and Ignacio Brex will be players to watch, as they bring formidable skills to the table. We’ll need to contain them to tip the scales in our favour. It’s about marrying the physicality with precision and flair.
Whether you’re at the stadium or watching from home, let’s rally behind our team and make some noise. 🏉 Let’s turn hopeful progress into a triumphant result! 🙌 #TogetherStronger #WALvITA #SixNations2026
