π Big Weekend Ahead for Wales Rugby! π

Head coach Steve Tandy is keeping spirits high as Wales gears up to face Italy this weekend in the Six Nations! Despite not having secured a Six Nations win in three years, Tandy emphasises that it’s all about the performance. He reckons if they focus on getting better, that elusive victory will eventually follow. π

Wales has shown serious improvement this tournament, particularly against Scotland and Ireland. This rising confidence makes everyone think a win could finally be on the horizon. While Italy is known for their recent strong performances, including a stunning victory against England, Wales is ready for the challenge.
Tandy says, “Weβve got to be focused on performances and then the win will come. Winning becomes a habit. But youβve got to have consistency to win.” He highlights that while a win is essential, the team must focus on growth and consistent improvement. Their defensive game, particularly in recent matches, has shown promising progress, allowing half the points they used to concede!
Italy has proven to be formidable lately, having beaten Wales in the last two matches in Cardiff. But Tandy and his team believe in their potential. “We know we need a better performance than against Ireland to get what we want from the game,” Tandy says. They know the importance of improving each match to get closer to their goals.
With an exciting lineup of summer matches against Fiji, Argentina, and South Africa, followed by autumn tests with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, fans can expect a thrilling rugby season ahead! π
Wales aims to bounce back and end the losing streak, and with Tandy’s positive approach and the team’s growing confidence, anything is possible. Go, Wales! ππ₯
