Here’s what Tandy had to say: “Massive pride within the group. The crowd was unbelievable. It’s been a long time coming, and today’s performance truly delivered.”
The coach emphasised how crucial performance is: “I genuinely believe if you get the performance, the result will follow. The boys have been amazing to work with, and it’s a great day for us.”
Praise was heaped on Aaron Wainwright and the captain, who have shown exceptional focus and leadership. Their contribution, alongside the team’s relentless effort, were key to this victory.
What about Dan Edwards? Simply outstanding! Tandy highlighted the growing competitive spirit in certain positions, adding: “To become a better team, we need this competition.”
