🏉 England’s Six Nations Drama! 🏉
England rugby legend Matt Dawson doesn’t think the current team deserves the “worst-ever” tag despite a challenging Six Nations. England did face some tough losses, winning only against Wales and ending fifth in the table. But hey, stats aren’t the full picture!
Their heart-stopping match against France showed they’ve got potential. They might have lost 48-46, but the performance was packed with promise. Dawson points out that if England had snatched a couple more wins, those numbers would look a lot better!
He highlights two standout performances against Wales and France, revealing the team’s impressive capabilities. Remember, England had a 12-game unbeaten streak not too long ago. Let’s not forget that!
Head coach Steve Borthwick isn’t giving up. He’s committed to pushing through the tough moments, confident they can turn things around. “We’ve got growth in us,” he says. And with their defiant display against France as proof, we might just see some exciting rugby from England soon!
The squad is gearing up for their South Africa tour, with newfound belief and determination. It’s all about handling pressure and seizing those game-changing moments, right? 🏆💪
Sure, there’s been criticism about team choices and discipline, but Dawson believes the team has shown they can stand against the world’s best. The next step? Fine-tuning their approach and letting the players shine!
