🏉 Six Nations Shake-Up: England Drops in World Rankings 🌍

The Six Nations has wrapped up in spectacular fashion with France snatching victory right at the wire. Thomas Ramos’ nail-biting penalty secured Les Bleus a 48-46 win over England, crowning them champions in what many are calling the most thrilling tournament yet!

Every weekend brought surprises, standout performances, and new talking points. Wales, once considered the underdogs, found their groove and ended with a win against Italy – their first in three years! The Italians also made history with their first-ever win over England, as Steve Borthwick’s team struggled, finishing with just one win despite being early Grand Slam favourites.
The rankings are buzzing with changes! England, who began the tournament as the northern hemisphere’s highest-ranked team, have dropped three places to 6th. Ireland now proudly takes that top spot in the region, climbing to 3rd globally. France, despite the victory, is just behind them in 4th.
Scotland also had an impressive rise, now sitting in 7th, spurred on by wins against England and France. Wales remains in 11th, but victory over Italy helped them jump above Japan.
In other news, Portugal celebrated a surprise win over Georgia, moving up to 14th in the world rankings. Quite the shake-up from what we saw at the beginning of the championship!
