🎃 Heartbreaking News: Uni Student Dies After Halloween Rave 🎃
We’re deeply saddened to share that Olivia Wojciechowska, a vibrant 19-year-old business student from Liverpool John Moores University, has tragically passed away. Known for her lively spirit and being the “life of the party,” Olivia collapsed during a Halloween rave at Blackstone Street Warehouse. Despite the best efforts of medics, she succumbed to complications caused by multi-organ failure and drug intoxication.
Olivia’s friends fondly remember her vibrant personality and love for dressing up and socialising. Her close friend Scarlett Tonna shared, “She was always hilarious and loved being part of every social gathering.” Another friend, Niamh Bosher, recalled Olivia’s enthusiasm at uni events, where her creative costumes never failed to impress.
Arriving at the rave with friends, Olivia was noted to have consumed MDMA. She was taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital when her condition worsened and later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. Despite being approved for a liver transplant, she sadly didn’t survive.
Olivia’s impact on those around her was undeniable. Hundreds attended a memorial walk in her honour, and thousands donated to a fundraiser, highlighting how dearly she was loved by so many. Remarkably, as an organ donor, Olivia has gifted life to at least two individuals by donating her heart and lungs.
Her friends continue to honour her memory, planning charity events for causes close to her heart. Rest in peace, Olivia. Your light continues to shine through those lives you’ve touched and saved. 🌟💔
