🚴🌍💥 Radio 1’s Greg James is on a charity biking mission for Red Nose Day with some unexpected twists and laughs! Greg’s pedalling hard on a 1,000km journey across Britain, and on day five, he chuckles while apologising to Gethin Jones, saying, “I was forced to jump on Good Morning Britain, but my heart’s with you guys at Morning Live!”
Joining the cycling frenzy is the dashing Gethin Jones alongside Tour de France champ, Geraint Thomas. Greg, fresh from a tearful ride into Wales, shared his emotional moment holding a Welsh flag, thinking of his nan. 🏴
Greg’s tandem adventure kicked off from Worksop, making its way to York, with Gethin playfully confessing, “I know which Welshman I want behind me, but it’s definitely Geraint!” Geraint, diving back on a bike post-race retirement, is ready for giggles, admitting he hasn’t cycled since last year. 🚵♂️
With big laughs from Morning Live hosts Helen Skelton and Gethin, Greg’s unexpected on-air surprise had viewers in stitches. Greg tried to charm his way out, jesting about Gethin’s Hollywood-level cycling thighs. 😄
Here’s to hoping the dynamic duo brings in not just the donations but also a healthy dose of humour! Catch more of Greg’s epic Longest Ride and see how you can support Comic Relief. ❤️
