Heartbreaking news from Wrexham – A mum and dad, Bernita and Alan Davies, face sentencing after pleading guilty to allowing their vulnerable daughter, Steffie Davies, to die. Sentencing is set for today at Mold Crown Court following their January admission to causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult between May 2022 and May 2023.
Prosecutor Andrew Jones KC stated that accepting their guilty pleas spared them a charge of manslaughter. During court proceedings, it was shared that on May 26, 2023, Steffie was tragically found in her bed, emaciated and unresponsive.
