Exciting times ahead for Cardiff City! Manager Brian Barry-Murphy is hopeful that both Yousef Salech and Isaak Davies will make their much-anticipated return to the first team after the international break. This could be just the boost needed as the Bluebirds push for promotion.
After a tough defeat to Wycombe Wanderers, Cardiff is gearing up to host Blackpool this weekend. Though Salech and Davies won’t take the pitch just yet, the team is laser-focused on reclaiming their top-two spot and closing in on leaders Lincoln City.
Ready for some good news? Salech, who has already netted 12 goals this season, is making excellent progress in his recovery after suffering a severe head injury against Stockport. Barry-Murphy shared his optimism: “Seeing him make such good progress recently, he’s hopefully ready to dive back into training and help the team.”
There’s even talk that Salech might be back for the critical match against Peterborough on April 6. The road to recovery hasn’t been easy, but the striker is inching closer, thanks in no small part to the dedicated medical team ensuring he’s fit for action.
Keep an eye out for these pivotal comebacks as Cardiff City looks to finish the season strong! 💙⚽️
