🚙 Stuck in the Mud! 🌊
In a daring yet muddy adventure, a Range Rover found itself in quite the sticky situation while attempting to reach the scenic Hilbre Islands in the Dee Estuary! Located between Flintshire and The Wirral, these islands are usually best visited on foot during low tide. 🌿✨
The adventurous driver decided to test their off-road skills but ended up stuck in the mud, raising concerns for both the driver and their furry companion. 🐶 The coastguard teams from The Wirral and Flint were promptly called in to save the day.
The good news? Both the driver and their pooch managed to exit the vehicle safely! 🚶♂️🐕 Although the coastguard lent a hand with some shovelling, the mud triumphed this time. As HM Coastguard put it, “We’re a rescue service, not a recovery service!” So, a local hero with a tractor eventually came to the rescue, towing the muddy Range Rover to safety that evening. 🌌
