🚨 Unlicensed Dog Boarding Drama in Llwydcoed 🚨

You won’t believe the chaos at a local dog boarding setup run by Michelle Lewis! Situated at her farm in Llwydcoed near Aberdare, the business was operating without a valid licence, putting our furry pals at risk 😨.

🐾 Two separate dog attacks were reported by worried clients who boarded their pets at the farm. Both incidents led the Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court to hear complaints, revealing that Lewis hadn’t renewed her licence after moving addresses. The council had already given her warning after warning 📜.

Lewis, previously approved to home-board dogs at another address, was caught off guard when inspectors popped in for a surprise visit. They found multiple dogs being kept without a licence, despite explicit warnings to apply for a new one 📢.
Fast forward to Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates’ Court, where Lewis faced the music. Pleading guilty to running an unlicensed operation, she was slapped with a fine totalling £393 💸.
Councillor Robert Harris highlighted the seriousness of unlicensed animal boarding and sent a clear message: Rhondda Cynon Taf is not playing around when it comes to pet welfare 🐶❤️. Businesses need to ensure they meet the high standards set by local authorities. It’s not just about ticking boxes—it’s about our pets’ safety!
So, if you’re planning to board your beloved doggos, double-check that the business is properly licensed. Unlicensed establishments might cut corners, putting profits over your pet’s welfare. Let’s keep our pups safe and ensure they’re always in good hands! 🐕✨
Stay informed and always choose licensed facilities for your pet! 🔐✅
