We’re deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Paxton Hood-Williams, the former Lord Mayor of Swansea. Serving the city with dedication from 2024-25, Paxton was a beloved figure in the communities of Fairwood, Three Crosses, and Upper Killay. Known for his heart of gold and unwavering commitment to public service, his loss is felt by many who had the privilege of knowing him.
A dear friend to many, the Upper Killay Community Council expressed heartbreak at Paxton’s passing. He was not only a long-standing community councillor but also a cherished friend. Vice-chairman of Mumbles Community Council, Martin O’Neill, fondly remembered Paxton, highlighting his devotion to community service and describing him as a “good man” with a heart always set on helping others.
Councillor Lyndon Jones also shared his condolences, acknowledging the significant impact Paxton had on those around him. The many tributes pouring in are a testament to his enduring legacy and the many lives he touched.
Our thoughts are with his wife, Patricia, and all of his family during this difficult time. Paxton will be missed by all who knew him. 💔
