🏉 **Scarlets Storm Zebre with Six-Tries Thriller!** 🏉
What a performance from the Scarlets as they cruised to a 36-17 victory against Zebre in Llanelli! It was a fantastic team effort with some standout performances on display.
⭐ **Player Highlights**:
– **Macs Page** was a shining star, slicing through Zebre’s defence and claiming a crucial try. His electric play was key to our exciting win.
– **Archer Holz** was an absolute powerhouse, dominating the scrum and earning the ‘Star Man’ accolade with his fierce play.
– **Jarrod Taylor** showcased his talent by scoring two tries and putting in a stellar all-around performance.
– **Max Douglas** was pivotal in the lineout, and he didn’t miss a tackle – pure class on the field!
The Scarlets set the pace right out of the gate with scrum-half Archie Hughes finding an unmarked Taylor for the opening score. The pressure didn’t let up with Sam Lousi, Ellis Mee, and Dan Davis also diving over the line to secure a commanding lead.
Zebre fought back with tries from Simone Gesi, Bautista Stavile, and Davide Odiase, but the Scarlets responded every time with precision and power.
👏 Big kudos to our young guns too! Carwyn Leggatt-Jones led the backline with maturity and skill beyond his years at just 18. His kicks were spot on, adding vital points!
Despite a disallowed potential solo wonder try by Page, our boys never took their foot off the gas, proving why they are a force to be reckoned with.
Join us next time as we continue to support our Scarlets in what is shaping up to be a memorable season! 💪🎉
