🎱 Snooker legends Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump have both taken their talents to the Middle East, but their journeys couldn’t be more different.
O’Sullivan, the snooker ace, has swapped UK life for a bustling schedule between Dubai and Hong Kong. While he doesn’t speak the local language, he’s embraced the quieter, simpler interactions. “We just smile at each other, hello, and it’s good,” he shared. He and wife Laila Rouass made the move, with Dubai’s convenience for tournaments tipping the scales in its favour.
Meanwhile, Judd Trump faces a whirlwind of uncertainty. After moving to Dubai in 2025, unexpected regional conflicts forced him to leave, leading him to currently call Bangkok home. “I don’t really think I can go back, just in case I get stuck there,” Trump confessed. He’s on the hunt for a new place to settle, making do with hotel stays and an open mind.
Despite the challenges, both snooker stars are carving out new chapters overseas, soaking up the sunshine and pursuing their passions. Here’s hoping Trump finds a permanent spot soon! 🌍🏆
