🚨 Emergency Alert in Cardiff! 🚨
This evening, Leckwith Road in Canton became the centre of an emergency response with police, paramedics, and fire crews rushing to the scene. The road was closed between Wellington Street and Cowbridge Road East just before 5pm, causing a bit of a traffic hiccup on Cowbridge Road East and Llandaff Road.
A South Wales Police spokesperson advised, “Officers are currently managing an incident on Earle Place in Canton. Please steer clear of the area if you can.”
But not to worry – by 5.30pm the situation had been resolved, and the road reopened with traffic flowing normally once again. It turns out the emergency was a medical incident.
Remember to always give way to emergency services. Stay safe, Cardiff! 🌆❤️
