From battling a £3,000-a-month cocaine habit and binges up to ten times a day to becoming an inspiration in Cardiff, Paul Fish’s story is one of remarkable transformation. Weighing 22.5 stone at his heaviest and buried in debt after the 2007 financial crash, Paul found himself in a spiral of addiction and unhealthy habits. But everything changed when he discovered fasting on YouTube and began walking 12,000 steps a day.

After being refused a wisdom tooth procedure due to his high BMI, Paul laced up his trainers and started his journey to health. His rigorous routine of fasting, which involves not eating until 2pm, and a diet rich in avocados and salmon helped him lose a staggering 6.5 stone. The turning point came on Halloween 2025, when a spiritual awakening led him to quit his 25-year drug habit cold turkey.

Today, Paul is not only fit and healthy at 15.8 stone, but he’s also on a mission to help others through his walking group in Cardiff called the Monday Reset Project. He shares his journey on TikTok, hoping to inspire people who might be in the same boat he was in. His newfound energy and clear mind are driving him to motivate others to take charge of their health.
Paul’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and the impact of making small, consistent changes in life. From walking marathons for charity to creating a supportive community for fellow walkers, Paul is proof that it’s never too late to turn your life around. His next event is looking grand with over 100 attendees expected, featuring a notable appearance by Welsh boxer Joe Cordina. Keep going, Paul! Your story is an inspiration to many.
