🚗💥 Heart-Pounding Drive Alert!
Imagine this: A busy road, two lorries, and a daring driver determined to squeeze through the middle! 😱 That’s exactly what happened when Richard Edwards, 46, pulled off a hair-raising overtaking manoeuvre on the A4138 near Llanelli. Ignoring solid white lines, he forced his little Fiat 500 right between the massive HGVs, even clipping one in the process!
🚓 The shocking stunt was caught on dashcam, and though Edwards didn’t stop or report the incident, the footage made its way to the police. The court heard how Edwards, with a lengthy record of 41 convictions, admitted to dangerous driving.
The judge noted Edwards’ struggles, including living in a caravan without basic amenities, but concluded that immediate custody was unavoidable. Edwards was sentenced to 22 weeks in prison, of which he’ll serve half before being released on licence, and he’s also banned from driving for over a year.
