🚨 Tragic Accident on A470 🚨
We’re heartbroken to share that a serious collision occurred on the A470 near Doldowlod, close to Rhayader. On the afternoon of Tuesday, 24th March, a green Chevrolet Spark and a red Scania HGV were involved in a devastating crash.
Regrettably, the driver of the Chevrolet lost their life at the scene. Our thoughts go out to their family, who are receiving support from specially trained officers right now.
The road was shut down for about 13 hours for a thorough investigation and has since reopened. The local authorities are doing everything they can to piece together what happened.
If you were in the area around 2:30 PM on Tuesday or have dashcam footage, please reach out and assist Dyfed-Powys Police with their inquiries. Every bit of information, no matter how small, could be vital.
In times like these, community support can make all the difference. Stay safe, everyone. ❤️
