🎶 Exciting News for Cardiff Music Fans! 🎶
The much-talked-about Blackweir Live gig series is making a grand return to Cardiff this summer, at the scenic Blackweir Fields in Bute Park! Plans have been submitted to transform the park once more into a vibrant concert venue, ready to welcome music lovers and big-name acts alike for the 2026 edition. 🏞️🎸
Last year, Blackweir Live wowed us all with legends like Stevie Wonder and Alanis Morissette, even though it stirred up a bit of controversy among park visitors over noise and environmental concerns. This year, Cardiff Council is keen on getting everything right, applying for planning permission to ensure the concerts go off without a hitch.
The gigs promise to bring a fantastic boost to local businesses and the music scene, with venues buzzing and music echoing through the city. 🎉🍻 Of course, the council aims to use the event’s success to reinvest in Cardiff’s grassroots music scene and further improve our beloved parks.
Stay tuned for more updates as the plans unfold. Are you ready for an epic summer of unforgettable music experiences? Let us know who you’d love to see on stage! 🌟👇
