⚽ Heads up, football fans! If you’re planning a pre-match booze run before the Wales v Bosnia-Herzegovina game, you might need a plan B! Asda in Leckwith, Cardiff, has temporarily banned alcohol sales today from 1pm to 8pm. 🍻🚫
The decision comes as fans gear up for the big night at Cardiff City Stadium. With Wales aiming for back-to-back World Cup qualifications, the atmosphere is already electric! The winners of tonight’s clash will face off against the victors of Italy v Northern Ireland next week for a ticket to the World Cup finals across the Atlantic this summer. 🌍🏆
So, why the ban? A notice in-store explains that due to licensing laws, alcohol can’t be sold during these hours because of the match. A small price to pay for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of football action! Kick-off is at 7:45pm, with live coverage on BBC One Wales and S4C – don’t miss it!
