Owen, a towering figure with an equally big heart, was cherished by all. His passions ranged from culinary genius, which ruined dining out for Hannah, to his love of nature and motorbikes. Yet, what stood out most was his battles with mental health—a challenge he faced with unwavering resilience.

In his memory, Hannah embarked on an Arctic Challenge, braving -27C temperatures, sleeping in igloos, and even ice swimming. Driven by a desire to raise awareness for mental health, she channelled her grief into fundraising for Mind and the Scottish Association for Mental Health. Her determination to help others who are still fighting shines brightly through her efforts.

Hannah’s bond with her brother and her commitment to raising awareness about mental health echoes loud and clear: the power of reaching out and seeking help cannot be underestimated. If sharing her story can save even one family from experiencing such heartbreak, it will all be worth it.

Recently, she hosted a fundraiser at Mumbles Coffee Shop in Swansea, continuing her mission to keep Owen’s spirit alive and support those in need.

Even in the face of unimaginable loss, Hannah’s journey of strength and love offers hope and encouragement to others.
