🏃♂️ Exciting News from Aaron Ramsey! 🏃♂️
Wales midfield maestro and captain, Aaron Ramsey, is swapping his football boots for running shoes! Despite not having played for Wales since 2024, the former Arsenal star is gearing up for the London Marathon on April 26th. But what’s pushing him to tackle this gruelling 26.2-mile challenge?
Ramsey is hitting the streets of London to raise money for ‘It’s Never You’, a wonderful charity providing support to families grappling with childhood cancer. It’s an inspiring campaign started by the parents of little Hugh, who lost his brave fight against cancer. Their mission? To ensure that families facing similar battles receive the support they desperately need.
Aaron shared his heartfelt motivation on Instagram, saying, “They’ve inspired me to run the marathon because every parent deserves care, understanding, and security when their child is ill.”
In recent months, while Ramsey’s football future remains in limbo after a brief stint with Mexico’s Pumas and returning to Wales, he’s been busy on other fronts. From stepping into a Cardiff coaching role to launching a premium Welsh vodka brand, Aaron is proving there’s life beyond the pitch!
While his return to professional football remains uncertain, who knows what’s next for Aaron Ramsey?
