Exciting news, Swansea! The much-loved Gorseinon 10K is making its vibrant return on Sunday, 12th April. Whether you’re a runner or a supporter, it’s a fantastic day for the community with lots on offer, including a family-friendly 2K run.

The race kicks off at 9am, beginning and ending at Penyrheol Leisure Centre. Racers will journey through Gorseinon’s High Street, the fresh cycle paths, and take in scenic views towards Pontarddulais before wrapping up back at Penyrheol. It’s not just about the sport; the day will also support amazing causes like Morganβs Army, who have been doing incredible work for families affected by childhood cancer.

Heads up, though! To make way for the runners and ensure everyone’s safety, there will be some road closures. Starting from 8:30 am until around 11:30 am, areas like Pontarddulais Road, Brynteg Road, and parts of High Street will be affected. So, plan ahead if you’re driving on the day!

Got your running shoes ready? Remember to collect race packs early on Saturday 11th April, or from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on race day. Don’t forget to bring some ID!
It’s set to be a brilliant day full of community spirit and support for wonderful causes. See you there! ππββοΈπββοΈ #Gorseinon10K #SwanseaEvents #CommunitySpirit
