A bit of history for you—this bridge, along with the lovingly designed gardens, owes its existence to William Graham Vivian, who bought the estate back in 1860. His nephew, known as ‘The Admiral’, later transformed it into what we cherish today.

Understandably, people are gutted about the closure. 😟 One regular visitor said, “I walk in Clyne most weeks, and this sight makes me angry every time I go past.” Fingers crossed, we’ll see it reopen soon!

The closure happens to be because of a dead tree that damaged the structure. The tree’s already been cut down, and the council is exploring options for repair. They’ve promised to provide updates once they have a plan in place.

In the meantime, let’s hope the bridge will be restored to its former glory, allowing us all to once again enjoy this beloved feature. 📸 What’s your favourite memory on the bridge? Share below! ⬇️ #Swansea #ClyneGardens #Community
