⚽ Cardiff City fans, exciting times are here! After nearly three years, our very own Alex Robertson is back playing for Australia. Meanwhile, keep an eye on Joel Colwill, who impressed by starting his first senior game for Wales against Northern Ireland.
📢 A storm brewed off the pitch as the Genero Adran Leagues hit back at some ‘appalling’ sexist comments following Cardiff City Women’s match against Wrexham. The game, played in front of a record crowd, was a crucial moment for women’s football in Wales, but sadly overshadowed by negativity. A firm no to sexism, let’s focus on the positive strides women’s football is making!
🚑 On the injury front, Craig Bellamy calmed concerns over Dylan Lawlor’s condition after he was subbed off in Wales’ recent clash. Fortunately, it appears to be a minor setback, with an eye on the exciting League One promotion run-in ahead.
⛳ Spotted: Aaron Ramsey bringing his A-game at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club with fellow Bluebirds Ollie Tanner, Calum Chambers, and Ryan Wintle. But that’s not all—Ramsey is preparing to run the London Marathon for a heartfelt cause, raising funds for children’s cancer charity, It’s Never You, in memory of a brave young boy named Hugh. His fundraising effort is soaring for an inspiring cause.
This is what makes the world of Cardiff City so amazing, on and off the pitch. Whether it’s an incredible return, combating societal issues, or athletes going the extra mile for charity, there’s always more to cheer for. 🥳💙
