🥊 Lauren Price: Bloodied but Unbeaten! 🏆
In an electrifying showdown in Cardiff, our Welsh boxing superstar, Lauren Price, emerged victorious after defending her world titles in a gruelling bout against Stephanie Pineiro. Despite facing a relentless challenger, Price’s sharp skills and impressive footwork ensured her triumph with a unanimous decision win.
The clash wasn’t without its drama! Lauren ended the match with cuts to her mouth and eye, turning her pristine white trunks into a testament of her fighting spirit. But in true Price fashion, she remained calm, collected, and determined, showing amazing resilience and never losing her cool.
With her unbeaten record now at 10-0, Price quipped about her upcoming wedding next month, jokingly hoping her partner Carlie Jones would still recognise her! 💍 Her wedding plea adds a light-hearted touch to a night that solidified her prowess and maturity in the ring.
But Lauren’s journey doesn’t stop here. Next in her sights? A legacy-defining fight with the formidable Claressa Shields, who was in the audience ready to witness the action. They’re already talking about a thrilling two-fight deal, with possible showdowns on both sides of the Atlantic. Imagine Price battling in the US and welcoming Shields to the Welsh crowd! 🌍
Promoter Ben Shalom is confident Price is ready for such iconic nights, recognising her as a powerhouse in the ring coming into her prime at 31. Could a mega-fight in Cardiff’s stadium be on the cards? Stay tuned!
