A dramatic night in Cwmfelinfach! A BMW spun out of control and crashed into a house, leaving homeowner Sion Hughes with quite the damage bill. The wild incident was captured on CCTV, showing the driver hopping out and then bailing the scene in another car before the police showed up.
It all unfolded around 10pm on April 1st on Maindee Road. Sion, who wasn’t home at the time, now faces significant repairs with the house’s front wall moved out of place by the impact. Lucky for him, his insurance seems to have his back. The video also revealed Sion’s girlfriend Becky offering to call an ambulance, showing the extent of the chaos.
Police are on the hunt for more info and are urging anyone who might have seen something to get in touch. If you’ve got any leads, make sure to contact Gwent Police on 101 or reach out online with log reference 2600100518.
