☀️ What a glorious week it’s been in Wales! With temperatures soaring to a warm 24C, it felt like summer had arrived early. Many took the opportunity to flock to the beautiful seaside towns. The sunniest spot was Bute Park in Cardiff, hitting 24.2C, while places like Llysdinam and Usk weren’t far behind, enjoying a lovely 23C and 22C, respectively. Anglesey even claimed the spotlight as the UK’s hottest spot just a day earlier with a sizzling 24.8C!

But don’t pack away your jumpers just yet! 🌧️ The Met Office warns that a cooler change is on the horizon. Expect temperatures to dip by up to 10C overnight as rain and showers make their way across the UK.

While it hasn’t technically reached “heatwave” status, the sunny spell brought with it high pollen levels, particularly ash and birch, keeping hay fever sufferers on their toes. Hopefully, the rain will give some much-needed relief!
Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, but be prepared for the switch to cooler weather. And keep an eye on the forecast to stay ahead of any surprises! 🌦️
