🐴 Big news from the horse racing world! Trainer Gordon Elliott has announced that Pied Piper won’t be hitting the track for the Grand National 2026 this Saturday due to lameness. After a promising start, the horse showed signs of a mobility issue and will stay home, putting his health first. 🏇
Meanwhile, there’s more talk around the defending champion, Nick Rockett. Unfortunately, he won’t be defending his Grand National title either. After just one appearance since his last big win, a few coughs this morning changed the game plan. It’s crucial to be 110% ready for the Grand National, and they’ve decided to play it safe, looking ahead to Punchestown instead.
With both Pied Piper and Nick Rockett out, the field is open for new contenders. Imperial Saint might step up with the final decision expected by Friday 1pm. Who’s excited to see how this unfolds? Share your thoughts! 🗣️💬
