Heads up for all train travellers in South Wales! Significant disruptions are affecting rail services due to a signalling issue between Cardiff and Swansea. If you’re planning to travel today, expect delays of up to 60 minutes or even cancellations in both directions. This disruption also impacts services between Bridgend and Rhoose Cardiff International Airport, with some services cancelled entirely.
Due to a signalling fault in the Port Talbot area, trains can’t run through until the issue is resolved. TfW expects these problems to last until 7pm, so plan ahead and anticipate longer travel times.
