π Heart-stopping drama at the Grand National! Over the weekend, three horses were injured during falls at the iconic race at Aintree. Health updates have now been shared, and here’s the scoop:

πΉ Mr Vango suffered a neck fracture and is being cared for at Leahurst Equine Hospital. His trainer, Sara Bradstock, remains optimistic about his recovery, saying that with a little luck, he could be home soon. He’s being nursed back to health with his Shetland pony by his side, and it sounds like he’s receiving first-class care!

πΉ Top Of The Bill had a scary moment at the final fence. His training yard described him as “absolutely A1” on Sunday morning. He’s now home, healthy, and trotting around like a champ. Jockey Toby McCain-Mitchell received a 10-day ban for not pulling up when the horse dropped behind, but all seems well now.
πΉ Quai De Bourbon, trained by Willie Mullins, also took a tumble at the second fence. Thankfully, he was on his way home safely overnight without further issues.
Wishing all the horses a speedy recovery! This year has shown just how unpredictable and thrilling the Grand National can be. Letβs hope to see Mr Vango and all our equine stars on the track again soon! π΄πͺ
