🚨 Shock Announcement for Swansea Foodies! 🚨

Sad news, Swansea! The beloved Caribbean-inspired restaurant and bar, Turtle Bay, is closing its doors after nearly a decade of serving the community. Since opening on Castle Street in 2017, it’s been a hotspot for lively brunches and cozy dinners, offering everything from jerk chicken to curry goat.

Turtle Bay recently won the “Best of Swansea” award at the Wales Restaurant Awards, making this news all the more surprising. The farewell note to customers expressed heartfelt thanks: “After almost 10 incredible years, next week we will close our doors for the last time. We are devastated, but wanted to thank you all for your support over the years. Thank you for all the memories, the wild bottomless brunches, the warm Caribbean vibes, and friendly conversations. We will miss you!”

Thursday, April 16, marks their last day of trade. While Swansea foodies are saddened by the news, the Cardiff branch will still be open for those who need their Turtle Bay fix. One patron described their dismay: “Gutted to hear this. Had many a fabulous bottomless brunch here with family and friends.” Another shared: “Aw I’m gutted! Amazing food and cocktails there!!!”
If you’re one of Turtle Bay’s loyal customers, now is the time to visit one last time before they bid farewell. Diolch yn fawr Abertawe. One love. ❤️🌴
