Last-minute drama at Huddersfield as Cardiff City pulls off a crucial draw! 🚀
Yousef Salech stole the show with a sensational stoppage-time equaliser, keeping the Bluebirds’ promotion hopes very much alive. Despite controlling much of the game, Cardiff had struggled in the final third until the substitutes changed the tide.
Star keeper Nathan Trott was heroic between the posts, earning the Man of the Match accolade with critical saves that kept Cardiff in the game. Callum Robinson’s high-intensity play was key, providing a brilliant assist that set up the dramatic finish.
The defence gave a solid performance overall, with Perry Ng and Will Fish holding firm against Huddersfield’s attacks. Midfielders Ryan Wintle and Alex Robertson showed flashes of brilliance, though consistency was just out of reach on the night.
While some of our attackers had a quieter evening than usual, Ollie Tanner’s late cross was simply magic, leading to Salech’s stunning goal. And let’s not forget Gabriel Osho, who helped shore up the defence late on, while David Turnbull added a spark in midfield.
